This idea came to me while I was junk shopping with my fiance Helen, loading up on art supplies and whatnot. I had seen these few items, the old birdcage and the primitive Pinocchio doll… I thought about it for a while, and then bought the items a couple weeks later, actually. That night I twiddled my fingers to Bix Beiderbecke, learned how to tie a noose, made a miniature envelope, sacrificed some of my old ’29 newspaper, bada-bing bada-boom and here we are.
